사전은 loaf를 "bread or cake that is shaped and baked in a single piece and can be sliced for eating"이라고 풀어요. 복수형이 loaves라서 예문도 "two loaves of white bread"로 나옵니다.
- There are two loaves of bread on the counter.
사전 정의는 "the outside layer of a loaf of bread"이고, 예문 중에 "I love the chewy crispy texture of the crust of a French baguette."
- The crust looks golden and a little crispy.

가게 장면이면 물건이 놓인 자리를 말해야 합니다. tray는 사전에서 "a flat object, usually with raised edges, used for carrying food and drinks"라고 하고, 예문으로 "She was carrying a tray of drinks."가 실려 있어요. drinks 자리에 빵을 넣으면 "A baker is carrying a tray of fresh rolls."
이 장면에서 필요한 건 "a long, flat, narrow surface or table in a shop, bank, restaurant, etc. at which people are served"라는 첫 번째 뜻이에요. 사전 예문 "There was nobody behind the counter when I went into the bank, and I had to wait to be served."
- A young clerk stands behind the counter.
사람 쪽으로 눈을 돌리면 앞치마가 보입니다. apron에는 "a piece of clothing worn over the front of other clothes to keep them clean when doing a dirty or messy job, especially cooking"이라는 설명이 붙어 있어요.
- The baker wears a white apron.
사전은 "powder made from grain, especially wheat, used for making bread, cakes, pasta, pastry, etc." 그래서 a를 붙이지 않고 There is flour처럼 씁니다.
- There is flour on the wooden table.
Early in the morning, two loaves of bread sit on the counter. The crust looks golden and a little crispy. A baker in a white apron is carrying a tray of fresh rolls, and there is flour on the wooden table.
"to put flour on a surface to prevent food from sticking"이라는 뜻이고, 예문은 "Grease and flour the tins thoroughly."
